  Cleaning Teeth

Tooth Cleaning - The American Dental Association recommends having your teeth cleaned every six months. This appointment allows our trained dental hygienists to remove plaque and tartar, and inspect your teeth before potential problems are compounded.

  White Fillings

White Fillings - In the past, teeth were most commonly repaired with amalgam (silver) fillings. Thanks to advances in modern dental materials and techniques, teeth can be restored with a more aesthetic and natural appearance. There are different types of cosmetic fillings currently available. The type used will depend on the location of the tooth and the amount of tooth structure that needs to be repaired.

  Gold Crown

Gold Crowns - The preparation of a tooth for a gold crown is the simplest and least complicated preparation as there is minimal tooth structure removal with as much as possible of the healthy tooth structure remaining untouched. While porcelain is hard by comparison, it may cause wear on opposing teeth over the years where gold is not as likely to do so. Gold is also easier to fit to the area where the tooth and crown meet for a better fit. Gold is also a healthier environment for the gum tissue.

  Porcelain Crown

Porcelain Crowns - Crowns can be made of porcelain, gold or a combination of both materials. Porcelain crowns typically have the most realistic appearance, although they tend to be less durable than other materials when used on your back molars.

  Endodontics

Endodontics is the area of dentistry dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the dental pulp.

Endodontic therapy (root canal) is a treatment that will save diseased or injured teeth. The alternative to endodontics is extraction. When the pulp is diseased and unable to repair itself, it becomes infected. Left untreated, the pulp will die and pus can build up at the root tip, forming an abscess that can destroy the bone surrounding the tooth. Endodontic treatment is the removal of the diseased pulp tissue, which will enable the body's defense system to repair the damage caused by the infection.

  Implants

Implants - A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Dental implants are an ideal option if you have good general oral health and have lost a tooth or teeth due to periodontal disease, an injury, or some other reason. Implants do not rely on neighboring teeth for support.

Maybe your dentures don't feel secure. Perhaps you have difficulty chewing. If you are missing one or more teeth and would like to smile, speak and eat again with comfort and confidence there is good news! Dental implants are teeth that can look and feel just like your own, and under proper conditions implants can last a lifetime.
